Diana verwierf het zwaard oorspronkelijk van een speciale toren op Themyscira, die de "vele geschenken" bevatte die de Goden aan de Amazones gaven, in de overtuiging dat dit het enige zou zijn dat Ares, de God van de Oorlog, zou doden.
Het god killer zwaard is een ongelooflijk scherp en duurzaam wapen, dat geen zichtbare schade vertoont na Diana's uitgebreide gebruik ervan tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Het was waarschijnlijk ook magisch van aard, zoals veel Themysciran wapens.

I have no words to describe how amazing this sword is! It's beautifully made and the mount that it comes with is easy to put together.

This was a gift to me from my husband and I can honestly say that he could not have chosen better. The pictures definitely do not do this sword justice. it is absolutely stunning and feels so good in your hand. The rune work on the blade is so intricate! I just had to buy myself the shield to go with it (excellent too)
