Murciélago, en espagnol pour "Bat", en japonais pour "Black-Winged Great Demon" : Le Zanpakuto d'Ulquiorra est un katana de taille standard avec un manche et un fourreau verts. Le garde a deux rallonges courbes à partir de ses longs côtés avec une ligne passant par les deux côtés, ce qui lui donne un aspect semblable à celui d'un œil.
